Luke collects antique bicycles and is an avid golfer, cyclist and snowboarder. The Manna Food Project, a local non-profit organization established inhelps feed the hungry throughout northern Michigan. A Message from our Director Bob spent many hours as a volunteer before joining the Manna team.

While she has worked in a variety of professional settings, non-profits like the Manna have always been her calling. Our volunteers return week after week to spend their time helping others that are in need. Together they chose to live in the neighborhood she was raised in that surrounds them with friends and family.

He spent his career working for non-profit and faith-based organizations, including the American Red Cross, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Reformed Church in America.

He states, "The fruits of my involvement are immediately realized when we rescue food or deliver to one of the agencies we serve. From my very first conversations with staff, it seemed like a perfect fit.

Her compassion and positive energy gives strength to our clients when they need it most. Bob is originally from Ann Arbor and is a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan. He and his wife Barbara have three children and keep busy travelling to visit them. Gabby had the desire to "make a difference" and quickly became acquainted with our caring community of volunteers. She and her husband have seven children, a grandchild and a "grand dog.

It is absolutely rewarding to know you are a part of an organization that touches so many lives. Luke became aware of Manna when his wife, a kindergarten teacher, told him about the Food 4 Kids backpack program.

Kim has two sons, Luke and Adam, and is an avid sailor and downhill skier.

Manna is funded entirely through donations from individuals, the generosity of local community groups and the food distribution operation. She returned to northern Michigan in I feel very blessed they are in my life.
